Job Purpose
The selected candidate will handle daily transportation of aircraft spare parts, ensuring timely delivery and collection across airport facilities. This role is critical to maintaining smooth airline operations by preventing delays and shortages.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport aircraft spare parts from customs to designated stores.
- Deliver and collect components between main stores and line stores.
- Handle unserviceable aircraft parts and ensure proper dispatch.
- Coordinate deliveries to freight forwarders and MRO facilities.
- Assist in packing and preparing materials for export.
- Follow all UAE traffic laws while driving company vehicles.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, safety, and servicing schedules.
- Support additional outdoor logistics tasks as assigned.
- Ensure strict compliance with health & safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School or Diploma (any stream)
- Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory)
- Basic computer knowledge
- Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Physically fit and energetic
Preferred Experience
- 1–2 years as a professional driver (logistics/transport preferred)
- Experience in airport or ramp operations is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Sharjah & Dubai road networks
- Updated knowledge of traffic rules and diversions
- Ability to work shifts and handle urgent/on-call tasks
